Don’t Give Up • Do Hard Things

Overcoming obstacles has been a constant theme in David Robbins' life. Born with an orthopedic issue, he wore leg braces and corrective shoes as a young child, finally getting his first pair of tennis shoes in 5th grade. David went on to excel in track, earning a college scholarship for running cross country and the steeplechase. After a successful career in finance and accounting, he transitioned to become a pastor. At the age of 49, he lost his 33-year battle with glaucoma and is now legally & functionally blind. Despite this, David taught himself a new way to see and now helps others navigate their everyday challenges. He is a “Blind Visionary”. He would rather be called “blind” than “low vision”. Blind means he can’t see, but that does not keep him from having vision. David’s talks are not just speaking events; they are transformative and designed to motivate and challenge people to see beyond their limits.
David and his guide dog, Price. Were featured in a news story out of Austin, Tx.

David wasn’t going to let his blindness go to waste. He is determined to use it to encourage other to “Not Give Up!”
